Hello World! (a.k.a. "My First Blogger Template")
Coming from a long standing tradition of old-school computer programming, I feel like I should start this off with the words, "Hello World!" having never posted a blog before. For starters, let me explain that I chose this template because of it's simplicity. Baby steps to get the ball rolling instead of diving into the deepend head first. I may change the template as time goes on and I learn more about myself, blogging and what image I want to portray. I may just decide to keep following along this same path. Although I chose the "simple" template, I apologize for the pastel blue, if I can figure it out that will be one thing to change.

I think simple is perfect! Nothing too crazy works best for me! I'm totally new at blogging as well so we'll see how it all goes!
ReplyDeleteHi Matt, I'm glad I'm not the only one who is just now cutting their teeth on blogging. Seems people have been talking about it for years and I kind of feel that I am behind the 8-ball in getting started.
DeleteHi Robin,
ReplyDeleteI started off simple too, I figure we can get tricky later, once we are master's of this!
I guess a bunch of us are in the same boat, so to speak. I don't know about getting "tricky" but something a little more than white on blue would be good too. Of course, I may just camp out with this for a bit.

ReplyDeleteLike your other comments, I agree simple is good. I chose the simple template for my blog too.
We will have opportunity to do more creative stuff as the class progresses.
Charlie
Thanks for responding, Charlie. You are right, over the course of the class we will have time to experiment with other stuff as far as the templates for our sites go.
DeleteThank you for the directions. I will have to test the waters and try some things. Of course, "anything is easy once you know how". It's getting to the point where you know how to do something that is a struggle. I appreciate you taking the time to write out the directions for me.
